I always wondered, because there are official National
Semiconductor application notes for the LM3900 that
resemble descriptions in the Serge catalogue:

Who was first, and who was influenced?
Did Serge contribute circuits for the NS AppNotes,
or was he inspired by them? Which was first?

Do you know the background of this ?
