I was thinking a bit ago about writing a computer editor for the OSCar.  I
didnt simply want to use sounddiver etc. as it costs a load of cash, and
isnt even as stable as one might like.

I have all the data for the sysex implementation for the OSCar.  I know no
C, but have heard that Tcl or Tk has resonable midi implemtation.  Knowing
perl to some extent allready, this would be less of a transition for me then
migrating to C (which i have little interest in learning anyway):

Does anyone have any experiance of sysex programming along these lines?
