Because they refuse to sign their organ donor cards! (Sorry, couldn't
resist).
Due to the weird nature of how I get messages from this list, this is the
first post in the thread that I've received.
Anyway, all I can say is you're asking the right guy (Ray).
I've got a pristine, velocity sensitive keyboard that I got from Electronic
Goldmine (no stampedes, it sold out months ago) that I plan to adapt to the
Oberheim two voice design - mainly because it uses diode switching, and it's
so nice, I don't want to chop it up. I don't know the first thing about PIC
programming, which I guess would be the easy way to do it, but I
*understand* the Oberheim circuit =0). I'm hoping to put in a velocity
subcircuit for it. But, that's way down the line when I have more of a
synth together.
I have an unused piano manual that I plan to use with Ray's design.
Right now, I'm using a design I got out of a Thomas Henry book that I
chopped up a little mini-keyboard for.
I plan to have a synth large enough (some day) that I can operate with three
manuals, that's why I've invested in three designs.
With the keyboard I see described, go with Ray (I'll let him answer your
question, if he hasn't already done so).
Cheers,
Scott
