[sdiy] [Slightly OT]PC Mixer

Am looking for a very simple mixer to allow me to record music through the line input of my sound card AND monitor the recording level at the SAME time. So far all programs seem to only allow you to monitor the incoming signal where as i need to monitor the `recorded' signal in realtime. Anyone know of a program or a method that will allow me to do this?

Don't need any special sound effects or features although these might be useful.

I do have access to a 3nd (onboard) sound card if that will make the task easier. Am using Pentium 4 with Windows 2000
