Has anyone on here ever replaced the volume pots on a TR-909? mine sat 
for about six months and now every volume is scratchy. The sounds leak 
into the mix when they're turned down and when I bring them up, they 
jump to full volume as it crackles. I would like to just go ahead and 
replace them all to get rid of the problem. My experience is that 
lubricants are only a temporary fix.

Are they just 9mm ALPS pots? I see Mouser now has them and they're only 
$1.20 each. However, what is a B taper? Is that linear? I have always 
been confused by this, I think it's A for log, B for linear and C for 
anti-log. Right?
