Look for KVM switches or KVM extenders and check the specs for maximum
resolution of the video image.
I've extended RGB from a Sun (special 75Ohm RGB coax cable) to up to
15m without ill effects at 1280x1024x85Hz. If your monitor has RGB
input, chances are you can have the PC at least 10m away with a good
card like a Matrox.

DVI was supposed to be available over fiber as well, that would make
hundreds of meters possible, but I don't know if the necessary
converters exist already. I can't find any specification (I thought I
had downloaded it), so I can't say how long the connections are at the
max.
