Biggest single improvement will be replacing fans. ( Power supply, case, *and*
CPU. Dont forget your videocard too )
Some improvement to be gained from the harddrive dampeners, esp if you are like
me and have 10krpm SCSI drives.
If you have the space, you can get old printer silencers designed for band
printers that'll hold quite a few PCs and you'll be hard pressed to tell
they are even running. $20 surplus when you can find them.
