hi
ever heard of moderators?
you can have closed groups which only give membership to selected people,
after getting mail, and verifying that it is not a robot in the other
end...
I'm currently at about 20 groups at yahoo, which of I use 7-8 active, and
there are no problems with spam at any of those.
and for all you people that dislike spam... I suggest to tell your isp to
take a look at http://eu.spamassassin.org
cheers,
leif
