I dislike Yahoo Groups. There is too much spam and unsavory crap that goes
along with it. I've had subscriptions to groups on eGroups and Yahoo. I've
also had several subscriptions to "independent" groups such as this one,
which relied on major domo, or similar mailing list software. I can
honestly say that there is usually less invasion of privacy and less
off-list spamming occurring with most of the independent groups. In fact, I
have cancelled all my other subscriptions and changed email addresses to
get away from the steady stream of spam and uninvited trojan/virus emails I
was receiving.

I like this list just as it is.

Please don't do anything that would weaken it.
