[sdiy] reasons for Forum

actually i find most topics on sdiy not only on topic, but interesting too..
even if it's not of any direct use. i dunno, i'd think if you're into sdiy
you'd have an interest in most aspects of it, whether it's soldering or chip
programming..
and if you want to read the list at work or somewhere else, why not use
webmail?
