Same here. I absolutely agree.

Probably my VL7's keyboard is the same - from your
description, it could be.

I loved the DX-7's action. It was just a little noisy (mechanical).
The VL7 action is more quiet I think (never played it side by side,
though.)

Good point!
I could buy a VL7 spare keyboard, put it into an enclosure with
flat top, stack the (real) VL7 on top of it, and play the PS-3200
clone from the lower board.
