Keep in mind that these are actually Rodgers organ keyboards. They might
not be a perfect match for something like a Roland synthesizer. I would
also expect there to be a "lower" and "upper" version of the keyboard, with
minor differences between them. The types of Rodgers organs that used these
keyboards would have at least two keyboards, and there is almost always
some minor differences between the two. Still, they might use the same keys
or contact strips as a Roland synth or digital piano, even if the metal
frame is slightly different from a given Roland instrument.
As for quality, I can say that there are extremely few problems with the
rubber contacts in the smaller Rodgers organs that would use keyboards like
this. I have repaired many Rodgers organs over the years, but I have never
had to replace the key contacts on any of them. I can't even remember
having to *clean* any of this style of Rodgers keyboard contact! I
certainly can't say the same for other brands and types of instruments,
like older synths, and even some of the newer digital pianos.
Later,
Glen
