In most of my projects, i use: Black for GND Red for +5V (power for digital circuitry) Yellow for +15V (sometimes +12V) Blue for -15V (sometimes -12V) In Systems where a "dirty" (digital) separate GND is present, this is also black. -Michael Buchstaller
