[sdiy] colored audio cable?

Hi John,
How about checking with the companies that make mouse cables? The clear 'I
Mac' style stuff is so incredibly popular right now that they probably have
something like what you're looking for. I used to work at Apple as a Cable
Products Manager and we went through a bunch of stuff like that. I worked
the technical side rather than the supply side, but I know that all their
cable is made in Asia. I might be able to contact the supply manger and get
names although they are high volume guys. Let me know and I'll dig into it a
little bit if you want.
Just FYI as a 'fashion note,' Apple seems to be quite the trend setter in
computer aesthetics, and they are slowly moving away from translucent /
clear towards a more subtle white / grey / platinum color scheme. Check the
I Pod and new I Mac. Look for others to follow in the near future.
