[sdiy] OT: Fostex RD8 display

This is Fostex's version of the ADAT, the mfgr'd it in the mid-90's.

I have one and the LCD on the front is kaput.  Alesis and Fostex both
can't supply a repl. part (they no longer stock it) and the local guy who
fixes these doesn't have any either.

Any idea of a repl. part of this?  Substitution?  Note that this isn't the
Alesis G8, which is quite a bit bigger--it's a smaller display.
