No worries here...The CA3086 is just an untested version of the CA3046 (the
CA3046 is speced for VBE matching), and the CA3046 seems to still be widely
available. So, if you need a CA3086, take a look at the CA3046, and buy which ever
is cheaper...I have seen the CA3086 sell for more than the CA3046 at some
places...and by the way, the CA3045 is the same as the CA3046 but in a Mil temp range
(and ceramic package), although, you don't see that one much at all any more.
