My bad.  I meant someone designing a single voice not the whole board.
for what I do, I could care less if I had to build several simple boards
vs one large board that did the same thing and had the exact same parts on
it.

I'm chewing up all my DIY time on microcontroller based stuff right now,
but whats kinda funny is if I get my cv/gate spreader built, I'll need
a whole pile of VCO's to be able to use it... so maybe one will feed the 
other...  I know I'll need something cheap if I'm to build enough voices
to actually use the spreader.
