hmmmm...  I'm not sure I'd agree that if you had a big board (4-8 voice
poly) that too many people would build them (though I might ;^)

They would be an advanced project, even if the individual modules were very
simple... They would be pretty expensive. A lot of people might compare them
to available surplus polys and figure to spend the money elsewhere.

This project would have to be a labor of love (or a really really clever
commercial
outing...).  I'd recommend designing a voice and see what happens.
