That's the hard part.  I started with page one and was thrilled... at first.
But almost immediately the book went WAY over my head, with diagrams
and math that I don't even recognize (and that's after 4 years of the stuff
at the university).  I guess you kinda hafta just say "yeah, ok, right" 
and keep
turning pages until things make sense?

The lines that really got me fired up (Chapter 1):
  "On reading of these exciting new developments in electronics, you may get
   the impression that you should be able to construct powerful, 
elegant, yet
   inexpensive, little gadgets to do almost any conceivable task -- all 
you need
   to know is how all these miracle devices work.  If you've had that 
feeling,
   this book is for you."

Wow.
