No, you can't get a good guitar out of a 303. It's not built to do that.
Nice piano sound though.
Seriously, it's worth remembering that analogue synths were originally sold
to a lot of people on the quality of their imitative abilities. I know it
sounds laughable today, but a lot of advertising materials said things like
'Able to realistically imitate any sound'. The idea that you could use a
synth for synth-type noises was just a bit downmarket for a lot of people.
Of course, some magazines (like Sound on Sound) still haven't understood
that trying to get a modular to sound like a piano or an acoustic guitar is
a waste of page space. ;-)
