Paul touches upon great truth here.  The old stuff is great, and surely Paul
has seen the depth of Don Buchla's vision now that his inventions are in his
lab - but for my buck the new stuff, anyone's new stuff, through
advancements in chip design and processor availiblility if nothing else, is
usually going to afford you superior sonics.

Which brings me to my point that if I ever got to the space where I could
not live without the Buchla accent, I would opt for Wiard instead. It's
personality is very simular, but it's signal to noise is unarguably
superior.
