[sdiy] Tasty Crap in small packets

Hey Batz, what about using some of those Pomona EZ-Hooks? In case these are
called something different where you are, here's a description:

http://www.elexp.com/clp_8036.htm

(That was just the first link I could find.) There are other brands
available, and I'm sure some of them are cheaper than Pomona.

Match these up with some of those tiny circular "test points" that I've
seen on some circuit boards. You know the ones that are little loops of
gold-plated wire mounted atop a little insulator? Here's pictures of test
points, such as I have in mind:

(Once again, the first link I could find--you might find better or cheaper
products elsewhere.)

I think this would let you jam a lot of connectors into a small area, and
the EZ-Hooks would be much easier to get a grip on than some of the other
solutions we've come up with so far. You could also put more than one EZ
Hook on a test point, and have almost the same "stacking" advantage of
banana plugs. In fact, you can readily buy cables with EZ-Hooks one end and
banana plugs on the other. That would make instant adapter cables for
interfacing with a larger modular.

What do you think?
