[sdiy] VCO vote?

I am in the process of planning my newest synthesizer. I am having a
difficult time choosing which VCO to use. I had originally planned to make a
clone of the SEM VCOs but now I find myself being influenced by some of the
fancier designs. for instance, the Bergfotron has an attractive idea, which
involves a tri VCO and several voltage controlled wave shapers. also along
these lines are the Blacet VCO with it's variable shape and the recently
discussed trapezoid VCO which seems *very* promising. I have also searched
up some really unique waveshapers with features like variable octave saw
waves and double pulses. it's all making my head spin and my mouth drool
with the simultaneous effect of making the SEM VCO seem rather dull.
I hate to be a cheerleader but can we have a best VCO vote?
damn my fickle brain!!!

PS: would it be redundent to build a synth with like a dozen waveshaping
modules?
