Oooops! Ack! Stupid me!!!
Before I wrote that last mail I just had a quick glance at an old 
Elektor article desribing that TOS chip. They listed the relative 
errors, and I didn't realise that this was already in percents. So the 
listed value of 0.07 is really 0.07%, and not 7%, as I thought. 
Thinking of it, 7% frequency error is more than a semitone %-)
