Yes, that's my opinion of it. I've not really found any granular
sounds outside of drones yet.

Well, the sounds in that piece were all jammed, then collaged. With
some careful modulation programming and practice I think I could play
it. A keyboard with good performance controls would help a lot though
(maybe a Prophecy?).

I don't see the point with classical, as far as I can see it would fit
right into avant garde academic music. And pop... like, who cares? ;)
Then again, come up with some neat hook and there it is.
