I found it more musical than some of the recordings you will currently find
being sold in stores, or played on some radio stations, and euphemistically
referred to as music. :)

I would expect to find your piece in the "sound track" section of my local
music store. It isn't something you are to apt to find yourself humming on
the way to work, but it could easily find into the context of a movie sound
track. (I don't think my local store even has a category for electronic music.)

Your piece gives me the impression that perhaps granular synthesis is best
used as an experimental compositional tool and is not really suited to
playing traditional western music, at least not in real time. I could
easily be wrong, but it's a hunch I have at the moment.

Perhaps I just need to be shown a hardware synth (either with keyboard, or
an interface to another instrument, such as a guitar controller or wind
controller) that uses granular synthesis. You know, something that I could
use to perform either pop or classical music on. I know that experimental
music is a completely valid form, but I doubt that granular synthesis will
catch on until someone can easily use it for pop music.
