[sdiy] Aftertouch via Pressure

Recently someone mentioned that there was a keyboard that grabbed aftertouch
info via the use of a pressure sensor on a tube that ran under the keys.
Has anyone considered trying to implement this on a keyboard as a DIY?
Any suggestions as to a pressure sensor to look for?  I dont even know where
to start looking for something like this.  Everything I'm familier with
will be automotive/mechanical and probably not sensitive enough.
