hello! i have a paia frac-rak and some modular synth remnants for
sale... they are for sale as one big bundle. here is a listing:
1. paia frac-rak with power wing. this is a +/-15v power supply,
with integral distribution board.
2. ken stone suboctave module. controlled via frontpanel with 14
pots and one rotary switch. inputs for 2 channels; there are controls for
the 1/2/4/8 suboctaves on each channel, and one channel has an x2
frequency level and the other has a "6" (two and a half octaves down)
level control. there are also the "M" controls, which control the
multiplication of channels A & B. it sounds like ring modulation, sorta.
3. triple VCLFO. these are based around the XR2206 (or 2209? don't
remember...) chips. they have square/tri outputs, and VC speed inputs.
4. dc mixer. 3 attenuated inputs, 3 non-attenuated inputs, 1
output.
all interfacing is done through a switchcraft 1/4" patchbay which
is hardwired to the modules in the fracrak. there is a 2U space in the
fracrak which used to hold a blacet dark star chaos module, but it is no
longer in the rack. the modules themselves are built into handpainted
fracrak panels.
this has a huge number of pots and knobs on it, and probably
contains well over $300 in parts. i will sell it to you for $120 +
shipping. paypal is preferred, 100+ AH references.
i will send you a picture of it if you want to see it.
thanks,
andy
