Direct sunlight can also erase EPROMs, though it didn't manage to do so over
the month I had my EPROM exposed to it. As the LEDs don't have a warning on
them about dangerous levels of UV, I expect they'd be much the same. Try
getting yourself a UV lamp instead. They are designed for sterilization.
TUV6W i think is the code of the lamp - a 6W "light bulb". You can use wood
for the box too. BTW, do you realize that commercial eprom erasers come in
plastic cases? Outrageouly priced for a tiny flourescent light, which is
ultimately all they are.
