[sdiy] Datek paper

I'm playing around with Datek paper and the weak link seems to be using a
household iron to heat the paper up.

Has anyone tried using a Dry Mount or Tshirt press to apply the paper?
I'm either thinking of picking one up, or taking a nice chunk of 3/4"
aluminum and bolting a bunch of dale resistors to the back and plugging it
into the wall.

Thoughts?

Datek paper seems to work pretty darn well when you apply it evenly.
The "system" they sell is a vacuum box and they say to use a heatgun on it...
