That's right. A Minimoog just likes to be used.
Otherwise the potentiometers and key contacts
start to make problems. Just like a Stradivarius
violine: the sound becomes worse if you don't play
it for a long time.
When I bought my Mini, I had to change one dead
electrolytic cap (in the filter envelope circuit).
And some potentiometers were crackling, but after
operating them during a month or two, they have
"cured" themselves. This ability seems to be a well-
-known property of the Minimoog.
