The original Moog knobs wer/are made by a company called Cosmo Plastics. The thing is, Cosmo has
a *large* minimum order, like 100. You can't call them up and ask for 7 knobs.
So, the next best thing is a knob you *can* get. These are used on the MOTM modules. They are
made by Tyco, and the part is PKES90B1/4. Note that this is really the "old" Alco number, who was
bought by Thomas and Betts, who in turn was bought by Tyco (yes, the $6,000 shower curtain Tyco).
There is a 'new' Tyco number: 5-1437624-3 but 99% of the time the PKES is used.
You can get these from Allied Electronics and Newark.
What is the difference between Tyco and Cosmo? The pointer. The Cosmo knob has 2 white 'dots' for
the pointer, the Alco has a line.
