[sdiy] mine transformer question....

heh heh.. but my knowledge is pathetic compared to some of the guys here. i
have written some basic diy, kitbuilding and circuit bend articles for a
magazine here in holland, but those are definitely not repair guides. a few
months ago there was an idea to gather all or a lot of the knowledge here
into some form of big synth diy or synth repair web page or book. as a
journalist, with english not even my first language, all i could do is pour
dry info into some readable material..
best thing to do is just follow all the discussions here.. a year and a half
ago i was where you are now.. but with all the knowledge picked up here, i
can now build and modify my own kits, and i've just brought my first synth
back from the dead. once you know how to operate a few tools and understand
a few basic principles (some of which, as someone who is not a math-head, i
still have a hard time with) it'll come to you..
good luck!
