I don't have my schemos here right now, but if memory serves some of the
"global" VCA functions (Aftertouch, Amplitude Modulation from Sub Osc, ...)
are actually performed individually on the M Boards, not on the
overall signal path. I'm not sure about this at all, but I vaguely
remember something like that: Signal chain electrically is not exactly
as you would expect from front panel layout. Just make sure that you
check the whole signal path, and you'll find if it's a blown VCA or just
a not working CV to one ore more VCAs.
