thanks for all the tips. after reprogramming the syntecno for hz/v and inv
gate, it now responds and tracks fine.
what still puzzles me is the high range. it goes up into almost unhearable
at 2', but i have to set it at '64 to get any low range at all. transposing
a track in cubase doesn't do anything: below say, c1 there's just no more
tuning. it stays the same note. theo nly way to get lower, is to use the
midi pitch wheel. for some reason, this does get into lower frequencies,
even down to hearing the individual ticks. maybe it has something to do with
all the loose wires coming out that were attached to the keyboard..;-)
