Rich,
i've used pin jacks from mouser (530-105-0302-001) w/ my 4700--not a perfect fit, but good enuf for folk music.
i picked up moderately sized 4700 sys from ebay a while back, and have been having fun (in a noisy sort of way). but i wouldnt call any of it high quality. noisy, sloppy out of tune--overall, a perfect fit for my "music". mechanically, its delicate at best. and the v/hz scaling makes it incompatible w/ just about anything else.
but it has encouraged me to play w/ the circuitry, and i've since embarked on building a more serious set of modules. have fun!
