[sdiy] LM13600/13700 Practical Difference in Filters?

Hi List!
I wonder if any one can help on this one. What is the difference in using an LM13600 and a LM13700 in say the MS20 filter or in a State Variable- can the they swapped around? I know that there is something to do with the output buffers, but that's it!
As always, any help appreciated. I wish I knew more than I do!
