I tried those out several ice ages ago, as well as an Intersil chip (number?) that had a decent sine wave.

They are easy to set up and use, if you want a VCO with good linear characteristics, but only one CV input.

Specs are going to be a bit hard to find. I started throwing out data books when they started to resemble telephone directories.  :-)
