Hi, I just pulled apart my Roland SPD-6 (Six position Drum-Pad).  This device
is just a drum-trigger pad, with audio outputs, two external triggers (for
open/closed snare & kick drum), and a (single) MIDI-OUT.  The device has 113
(???) onboard sounds.

When I pulled the unit apart not only is there a space for a Surface-mount
5-pin DIN socket, but that the 5-pin DIN socket is in place.  There is merely a
facia covering the socket on the outside of the unit.

But when I go to use that socket as a MIDI-IN, nothing seems to happen.


Anyone had a tinker with one of these B4?
