i tossed the reverb 'cause the drive and pickup circuits weren't very good,
and i had a cheap digi reverb that is much more flexible. i like spring
reverb on electric guitar but it wasn't too impressive on the POG1.

Ian:
there are those moments when i have a problem figuring out which side is the
back and which is the front. it's didn't mention it on the site but the main
claim to fame of the POS was that it was and is the only synth i have ever
seen that had a built in bottle opener and an ashtray (not 4 cigs) !


soundfiles on the site sometime soon, probably when i get more space...

info on the MG1 mods: i will try to post them  soon.
1. adjusted the TUNE range (lowered the resistor from the wiper to the
summing amp)
2.adjusted the LFO range
3.added better VCA
4.added VC resonance to the VCF
and all sorts of other mods...

i have been a long time lurker and occasional poster from the back of the
class here on synth-diy. excellent bunch of folks and a great resource.
thanks to all who responded now and thru the years.
lastly just for the record i am a boy named crystal...
just to avoid any confusion.
