A carbide blade will last way longer than a steel
blade. On a table saw you can asjust for a very
shallow cut, which will make up for the wide tooth
spacing. If you have to use a blade with a tooth
spacing wider than the work thichness, make sure to go
real slow. I use my wood chop saw to trim panels to
shape. It works as long as you go slow.
