Also don't forget that there is a voltage regulator for the HT supply in a
CRT to prevent the anode voltage getting high enough for the tube to start
emitting x-rays.
If you 'circuit-bend' your TV in the wrong place, you could end up
sterile/cancerous.
Not as bad as dead, but still not on the list of clever things to do...
