Hi,
I actually mailed to those guys last year. And they gave me unbeatable quotation. About 1/4 price of Alcoswitch. They make all knobs in 1/4, 1/8, 4mm and 6mm if you want. But minimum quantity is usually 3000. 1500 if you insist, but for a few cents more per knob ;)
I personally prefer 41032 type.
If you're thinking of buying a bulk and resell within Synth-DIY, I'm affraid finding one standard knob for everyone would be tougher than to all those bananas-1/4''-1/8'' flame wars IMHO.
