couldn't you etch each side separate?  Cover one side with some plastic 
self-adhesive sheet or something like packing tape.  etch one side and 
then tape this side and etch the other?  Just an idea.  I wouldn't be 
doing 10mil traces yet anyway.

The iron-on method isn't working so well, btw.  I'm using 30mil traces 
and many of them are just flaking off the PCB.  :(
