[sdiy] Stupid resistor tricks?

    You got it... :-)...your assumptions are basically correct....just
to add  a bit to complete the thought about parrallel resistors, in
order for two 1/4 watt in parrallel to equal 1/2 watt, they must be the
same value...same is true for series connections.
