The only problem with preserving the pedals for resale is in that case, they
aren't really yours - they belong to the next fellow you will sell them to.
I've sold a rare pedal in good condition before - and got a miserable $30
for it. If it hadn't been a fuzz unit, I would have been better off hacking
it up to get some use out of it.
