Personally, I have more than $20.
But there are plenty of people, with access to the internet thru college or
university, who'd like to build an analogue synth, but might read statements
like "if you can't spend $20 on a DAC..." etc. and be put off even trying.
When they leave uni and get a well-paid job, these very same people might
even *not* buy MOTM kits becuase they never got into synth-DIY in the first
place...
