Oh, PLEASE!

You have a computer and Internet access, right? Cost more than $20?

Trust me: you are better off (in many ways) getting a part-time job, saving up the $$$ instead of
blowing it, and spending it wisely on the critical parts you need.

Hell's bells: in 1978 dollars, I was designing a solar water heating controller for Texas A&M.
The 12-bit 1/2LSB ADC and the 10-bit 1/2LSB DAC together cost me $535! I can get BOTH from Mouser
for $17.

I find it ironic that many people that "complain" about being "broke" have piles and piles of
"stuff" (I talked to one person that complained 'MOTM was way too expensive' but he owned over 30
stomp boxes, proudly stating "and I didn't pay over $15 for any of them!")

Sheesh.
