[sdiy] WTCPT Usage

In the instructions it says to leave solder on the tip when not in use to
prevent oxidization, but it also says not to use acid core solder (and from
what I understand organic core is a mild acid core). So, should I still
follow their instructions and leave some solder on the tip when it's in
storage? I'm not sure about the properties of flux, I'm guessing it doesn't
really mix with solder so it always boils to the outside, and I guess maybe
it boils off completely since I haven't heard mention of problems with using
the same soldering iron for 245 and 331, but I'd appreciate it if anybody
could confirm this.

Thanks!
Steve
