Hi Fernando,
I submitted that article earlier this year.... several people have built 
the circuit and tell me the performance is quite good. It  behaves 
better than the CA3280-based VCA design I previously used - quieter and 
with much less CV feedthrough. I believe the core design is currently 
being used in the new equal-power crossfade and quad VCA modules being 
manufactured by Modcan. It should be useful for any of the typical 
variable-gain applications - VCA's, VCF's, CV-regen for VCF's, 
controlling LFO or ADSR levels, or for simple VCO's and triangle wave 
generators.
